Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Load/un construction debris and equipment safely
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site managers
- Perform excavation, trenching, and backfilling operations
- Assist in concrete pouring and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Must possess own basic hand tools (tape measure, level, hammer)
