Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including digging, lifting, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment (training provided)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Perform physical tasks in various weather conditions (heat, rain, humidity)
- Assist in setting up/breaking down scaffolding and temporary structures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we train all new hires
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain strong work ethic
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Willingness to work outdoors in Louisiana climate
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurements
