Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and site cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of a foreman.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize storage areas.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 50+ lbs for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites is mandatory.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a cohesive team.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
