Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including mixing concrete, hauling dirt, and cleaning work areas.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by providing necessary tools and assistance as needed.
- Equipment Care: Maintain and clean tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for long hours, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime when required.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time and ready to work every day.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
