Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and painting.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Perform site cleanup, maintain a safe working environment, and remove debris.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety instructions to ensure project accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
