Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site construction tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all project schedules and instructions from supervisors.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
- Signal equipment operators to aid in the movement of materials.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and climbing.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work at various heights.
