Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on-site
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Read basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor (up to 75 lbs)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical assessment
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to job sites
