Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, power washers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform general site cleanup and waste management procedures
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid government-issued photo ID and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
