Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and trenching operations using hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active job sites
- Maintain clean and safe work areas by removing debris and hazards
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) after certification
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company quality guidelines
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and project briefings
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible schedule availability (6 AM start times, weekend work)
- Must possess own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Previous construction experience a plus but not required
