Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with construction activities
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout project phases
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Flexibility for 10-12 hour shifts and occasional weekend work
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with concrete work or framing preferred
