Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (lumber, bricks, concrete) using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and cleanup protocols.
- Assistance: Support carpenters, electricians, and other crew members with various manual tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods outdoors in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Attitude: Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with team leads.
