Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily debris removal and site cleanup.
- Set up and operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with site preparation.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material estimation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
