Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and technical drawings for precise implementation
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and waste management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and equipment operator licenses
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Knowledge of California building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read technical schematics and architectural plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
