Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision; assist with operating heavy machinery.
- Assembly: Assist in assembling building components, including framing, scaffolding, and bracing.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality control standards.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site, including removal of waste and securing tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience as a laborer or in general construction is preferred but not required (willing to train motivated candidates).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Safety Mindset: Must have a strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
