Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites using hand trucks, forklifts, or dollies.
- Tool & Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision, ensuring they are clean and stored properly.
- Supporting Trades: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) by fetching materials, holding equipment, and performing general tasks as directed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, shoveling, and removing waste materials regularly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as project demands require.
- Work Ethic: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid government-issued ID.
