Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and flooring.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery safely under supervision.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
