Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Support: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Trade Assistance: Aid skilled craftsmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with measuring, cutting, holding materials, and basic assembly.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely and correctly to perform various construction tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure the work site is kept tidy and organized to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
- Reporting: Communicate effectively with site supervisors and complete daily logs and reports as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right motivated candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for commuting to various job sites.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and concisely.
- Teamwork: Must be a cooperative team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
