Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various construction tasks.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and construction equipment, such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow blueprints and project plans to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Experience in general labor or construction is a plus but not required (willing to train).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and construction procedures.
