Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and accurately count construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Operate basic machinery and heavy equipment safely under supervision.
- Perform site preparation duties, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required—attitude and willingness to work are key.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials.
