Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, shoveling, and hauling heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily project duties.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under direct supervision.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Read and interpret basic site plans, blueprints, and safety signage.
- Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently to keep projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
