Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand plumbing code specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools, including pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering equipment.
- Prepare job sites, including digging trenches and laying pipe.
- Perform basic pipefitting, including bending and threading copper and PVC.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized after each job.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Strong desire to learn a trade and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
