Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials from trucks and transport them to job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and in accordance with company standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, measuring, and cutting materials as directed.
- Perform general site cleanup, including trash removal and site preparation for the next phase of work.
- Communicate effectively with the foreman and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
