Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and marking utility lines
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment assembly, and site layout
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and reinforcing structures
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans accurately
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and report safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or technical certification
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery operation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
