Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site construction activities.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools (such as saws, drills, and compressors) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, trash, and excess materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for everyone.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated storage areas.
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and rough-in work as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and the willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; however, we value experience and a strong work ethic.
