Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Site Cleanup: Perform regular cleanup duties to ensure the job site remains organized and hazard-free.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we will train motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for site access.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
