Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using trucks, dollies, and hand carts.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and plumbers) with daily tasks and installations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal, sweeping, and waste disposal.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety signs.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
