Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, adhering to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to accurately execute construction tasks
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing under supervisor guidance
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory management
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
