Responsibilities
- Perform general physical labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various construction duties.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and clean construction sites, including removing debris and maintaining a safe workspace.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and trailers.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies strictly.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials as directed by the project supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (trade school experience a plus).
- Previous construction experience is a significant advantage but not strictly required for qualified candidates.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
