Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and storage areas.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including cutting, drilling, and assembling.
- Prepare and clean job sites to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies strictly.
- Perform basic measurements, leveling, and site preparation as directed.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but on-the-job training is available.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple instructions.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
