Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely handle and operate power tools and light construction equipment (compressors, generators, etc.) under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including digging, clearing, and leveling as directed by foremen.
- Assembly: Help assemble structures, formwork, and scaffolding according to blueprints and safety standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Team Support: Collaborate closely with carpenters, electricians, and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided for motivated candidates.
- Safety Mindset: A commitment to following OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to take direction from supervisors.
