Responsibilities
- Operate Construction Equipment: Safely handle and operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid ID: Must have a valid driver's license or state ID and be authorized to work in the US.
- Work Ethic: Motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Reliability: History of punctual attendance and reliability.
- Steel-toed Boots: Must provide own steel-toed boots and safety gear (or be willing to acquire).
