Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, rocks, and other obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand tools, forklifts, and trucks.
- Assist Trades: Provide general assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Excavation & Digging: Operate hand and power tools to dig trenches, foundations, and utility holes.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials for projects.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid driver's license and a Social Security card.
- Willingness to Travel: Candidates open to travel within the region (including Pennsylvania) for larger projects.
