Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Basic Tool Operation: Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools safely under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Cleaning & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring tools are returned and the area is safe for other workers.
- Assistance: Provide general assistance to carpenters, masons, and other trades as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Perfect for beginners or those looking to switch careers into the construction industry.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
