Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and painting.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and reporting potential hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols strictly to ensure site safety.
- Perform general site preparation, including digging, leveling, and concrete work.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 preferred but not required).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
