Responsibilities
- Perform general site preparation, including excavation, backfilling, and grading using hand and power tools.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure project progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize them efficiently.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery under supervision when required.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from foremen to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred but not always required.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
