Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery safely
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, mixing, and installation support
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA and company safety protocols
- Read blueprints and verbal instructions to execute construction tasks accurately
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in teams
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
