Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and grading the area.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and equipment under supervision, including forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Assistance: Provide general support to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all site safety protocols.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to ensure precise installation.
- Documentation: Help complete daily logs and safety reports as required by management.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a proven track record of showing up on time.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for eager candidates willing to train.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus, but not required.
