Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare the construction site by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and masons, with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, including saws, drills, and compressors, following all safety guidelines.
- Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and assembly.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and able to work well within a team.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
