Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and rough-in work.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
- Perform general labor tasks as needed to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and hold heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
