Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily site operations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools under strict supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Transport materials to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and safety meetings.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required (Entry Level position).
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and bending.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure are preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in IL and FL.
- Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong team player with a proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
