Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines without exception
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in Florida's climate (heat, humidity)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Drug-free and pass pre-employment background check
- Strong commitment to punctuality and accountability
