Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks as directed by supervisors, including digging, carrying, and lifting heavy objects.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing waste and organizing tools.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with basic tasks and measurements.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience is required. We value attitude and work ethic over past history.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy weights (up to 50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to the Fresno area.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills are required to understand safety instructions and work instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Teamwork: Must be a self-starter who works well in a team-oriented environment.
