Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations and repairs.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical system malfunctions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining work performed and answering client questions.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete jobs on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current OSHA 30 or 10-hour safety certification is highly preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
