Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including framing, drywall, and general site preparation.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools safely to and from the site.
- Dig, level, and prepare ground surfaces for concrete, foundations, or landscaping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Perform routine cleanup duties to ensure project sites are hazard-free.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new construction techniques.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required.
- No major criminal record (background check may be required).
