Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general cleanup.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on-site.
- Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing by sanding, patching, and cleaning.
- Perform daily inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in general construction or labor work is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
