Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including carpentry, masonry, and general site preparation.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Perform digging, trenching, and earthmoving tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Demolish structures and remove debris in a safe and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Steel-toed boots are required for the interview and first day of work.
