Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Load/un construction materials and debris using proper lifting techniques
- Perform basic excavation, trenching, and backfilling operations
- Assist with concrete pouring and finishing as needed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Experience with construction cleanup preferred but not required
