As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in our projects, ensuring that every job site runs efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using trucks, dollies, and forklifts.
- Operate power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, under supervision.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstacles.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with various tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations for material requirements.
- Excavate, backfill, and grade soil as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read simple instructions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
- Willingness to work overtime as project demands require.
