Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks associated with general construction work, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under direct supervision.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and secure them properly for transport.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
