Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized work areas
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read basic blueprints and instructions to complete assigned tasks
- Participate in site inspections and quality checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to attend paid safety training sessions
